We-saw

The Wesaw™ is a new take on our traditional seesaw. Its unique design and gentle rocking motion invites kids and families of all ages and abilities to participate in the fun. This SeeSaw is wheelchair accessible. Like all our seesaws, the We-saw provides opportunities for collaborative play and teamwork.

Age Range: 2 to 5 years, 5 to 12 years

• 4 seats (with back support) with center platform for additional participants
• Center platform made of GripX, a UV stabilized HDPE (high density polyethylene) marine-grade material. Specially designed slip resistant texture enhances traction and appearance. Platform is trimmed with your choice of colorful Permalene®.
• Spring mechanism and in-ground bumpers for controlled motion, gentle rocking
• In-ground bumpers protect surfacing from impact and extend the life of the product
• Rubber stops on hand and foot-holds ensure a firm grip
• Walk-in seating ensures easy access or transfer into seat

Proprioception: Core muscle groups are engaged while moving the We-saw. Maintaining balance, weight-shifting, holding posture develops strength and endurance.

Vestibular: Children can regulate their movement/vestibular input based on where they choose to sit (more movement on the ends, less in the middle).

Motor Planning: Motor sequencing and patterning are required, activating weight shifts.

Social/Imagination: Multiple seats allow for group play, requiring communication to coordinate movement and creating opportunities for pretend play.
