The back-and-forth movement of swinging provides a child’s nervous system with a wealth of visual, vestibular, and proprioceptive stimulation as they learn how their bodies move in space and how much effort it takes to increase or decrease their speed.

 Oodle Swing - single and double

The Oodle® Swing, Single and Double provides oodles of fun for kids! This inclusive playground swing is set side-by-side and kids of all abilities will love the thrill of its left to right and back and forth motion. It is a perfect addition to any new or existing playground - especially play spaces designed with the Evos® play system.

Age Range: 5 to 12 years
Features:
  • Each swing comfortably seats four to six children at one time
  • Frame constructed from 3.5" ProShield®-finished, galvanized steel arches
  • Stylized plates connect the two swing assemblies
  • Cable is polyester-wrapped, six-stranded galvanized steel with a polypropylene core
  • Includes swing frame, swing cables, swing seat and fasteners
  • Rope connections use universal joints to prevent cables from twisting or tangling
  • Swing seats are molded from durable, colorfast polyethylene
  • Each swing seat contains two rubber-encapsulated bumpers
  • Transfer point from wheelchair or walker

Proprioception: Develops upper body strength through the pushing motion.

Vestibular: Placing the body and head in different positions while swinging, fast or slow, stimulates the vestibular system.

Motor Planning: Multi-seat design requires motor planning for entering and exiting as well as pushing the swing.

Social/Imagination: Multi-seat design offers opportunities for social interaction, cooperative play, turn taking, collaboration and pretend play scenarios
